Of course it is, ahem. X
Whether it is a bad job, toxic relationship or in my case merely a hell of a home.
Sometimes it is just time to go and take what’s left of your patience, energy and your precious time and stop giving it away in all the wrong places.
Change is hard and is inevitably met with some resistance as we are human and love the shelter of status quo.
Often we hate change so much that we would rather stay put in the hell we know rather than risk the great unknown, alone.
But where is the fun in that. Where is the Possibility for new or surprising? Where is the room for growth and the space for endless possibilities in that?
Better to be brave, take the bull by the proverbial horns and get to it, head on.
We know the times everything is telling us to go, don’t we?
So why resist?
Instead I try to change my focus back to gratitude for everything tiny thing I can think of and go for it.
Thanking the universe eternally for guiding me away from where I am quite clearly not meant to be. Looking forward to a new day
Even when some kinks in the road are challenging and painful, it guides us on, always, if we will only quiet or minds enough to listen.
Clever really isn’t it.
Biggest Love to you all and joy.
Why do people bother?
Don’t they know, the truth will out. Always.
Not the small white lies told by pure of heart. But the big and general scumbagery, done as easily as breathing In and out for some, and in a few, as often too.
It used to drive me absolutely crazy. My justiceometer fit to burst. Feeling like somehow it was my place to right that wrong, protect that innocent, put the bully in their place, quite that cowpaterey
Now I marvel at their ingenious machievelianesque machinations.
Admire their stupendous skills of spin.
Relish in the amusement of all they try.
I still fucking hate it, don’t get me wrong.
But now I realise, it is not my place to judge any of it, ever. It’s not up to me how they behave.
Not my job, as they say in Addlerian Phsycology.
My job is me and i barely feel able to steer that ship at times.
So the thought that I could ever have control over anothers feelings or take on responsibility for someone else’s behaviour, is a falasy
So now instead now I smile and let every tiny cadence of cunning wash right over me in amusement.
Because it is not my place to fight, nor worry, nor seek justice.
The Karma Police will do fine all by itself. Just as it has always done without me, since the beginning of time.
So instead I say smile.
I even had to stop my self laughing out loud the other day, by burying my face ìn my poncho, because it had become so ridiculous. All quite recently new to me, but left me feeling great instead of depleted, which has to be an improvement surely.
So to quote the mighty penguins of Madagascar….
“Just smile and wave boys. Smile and wave.“
Peace, Love and Light you Lovely Lot.
Mmmmmmmm and Grrrrrrrrrrr, I LOVE these. It is so refreshing to see something new and original.
Not much room for mistakes in geometry though, so these have to some cracking Artists.
I love a great knob ; )
Although it is a hell of a budget before these things are even considered more than just a means of opening a door. But in an imaginary world, where money is no object and that it would not be best spent on almost anything other, more important than frivolity like this.
So from a purely aesthetic point of view. I do so love this level of attention to quality and detail. To arrive at a door that the mere sight of it brings you joy and an occasion each time it’s used, is a wonderful thing. The craftsmanship alone of some of these is just fabulous.
What i do find a shame though is that I have often found that the people who have this level of luxury in their lives, rarely seem to enjoy or even notice the craftsmanship or qualities that I admire them so much for.
Like our walls perhaps free of a myriad of Old Master paintings and antiques ….. if we didn’t have them, did we miss them?
To them I also say Knobs, Lol. Look around, and really see the beauty of it all and how lucky you are. Although its not really their fault either as it’s what they are used to, the same as any of us.
It’s what we grow used to really, isn’t it? Our reality and experience is always ours alone. But does the commonplace always become taken for granted or even ignored no matter how exceptional or beautiful?
Do we take the time to enjoy what we have now?
Shouldn’t we all try and take the time to notice and enjoy all the little details around us too and remember how lucky we are ? Whether a passing bloom, the touch of a loved ones skin, a wonderful door, some angelic birdsong or just a smile that was freely and genuinely given that day.
No matter how lucky we feel we are, still take pleasure, relish and even celebrate all that you are lucky enough to be and have around you. No matter how small, rejoice in it all.
On a lighter note though, the look of the knob is perhaps equally as important to me as how it feels in your hand, don’t you think?
Ahem, I’ll stop there….
I am so happy I found him … such versatility and diversity in his songs.
I was just watching a film last night and I Shazamed 4 of his songs.. it was meant to be.
I have never heard any of his music before, but there is so much to love.
Also I am guessing that I am out alone in not knowing him, because I’ve just found out that he is on tour at the moment. Yay !
Which means I will be going to see him at some point, somewhere.
Not only are they are in small fantastic venues, if the London venues are anything to go by and the tickets are £16 /$20 ish which is amazing!!

Be rude not to give it a go at that price.
He is a Canadian musician who did the soundtrack for HECTOR AND HIS SEARCH FOR HAPINESS, which is where I found him.

Such musician ship, such musicians such beautiful music.
Truly some glorious stuff, hence my urgency.
I will put another softer playlist of his on at some point, but started with this to give you a better taste for all his stuff.
From Funky to Folkey to classically lovely stuff. Not classical, but classically composed, you will see what I mean. Fantastic guitar, voice and even string arrangements on some.
See what you think?
Love, love, love to you all. X
