Sky 1 playlist. Something to lay back and look up to. X

From the oh so fluffy to the daily work of Art’s that are each sunrise and sunset. I love them all. Each different, each spectacular in it’s own way.

Don’t forget to stop, breath and enjoy all of them. Nature’s not so little reminder to stop and be grateful for it all.

Another day under these breathtaking skies on our amazing planet. Lest we forget all the blessings we have. Nor forget to take care of it, as it does us.

Whenever I see any kind of sky, even the grey on grey I appreciate them all, as they all have their beauty. I make a point of trying to drink it all up and soak it all in, wherever I am.

Sometimes only fleetingly if I’m driving by, because no one wants a crash. But More often I would have to stop the car and capture that days, hours, or moments master piece. Feeling privileged to have been witness to it.

But if I am walking my Dog say, or out in nature ideally, I stop and use that as another chance to reconnect with myself and the universe. I sit or stand and just watch the sky go by. It is an amazing little meditation because all you need to do is take the time stop and look.

It always seems to work on me both calming and reinvigorating.

All that glorious colour and form, pattern and geometry. Both organic, abstract and angular at times, how could that not fill me with a sense of wonder, joy and gratitude.

A feeling of connection to it all. I know now for me at least, I need that because it seems to feed me and energise my life force in a way.

So I thought I’d give you a little mix to relax and watch the clouds go by to.

There are quite a few from THE ORB, because they are geniuses at understanding dynamics. I don’t know about you, but I like to be taken on a proper journey. Be surprised not expecting.

Sometimes I like to see if I can either cloud bust or cloud create. See if I can’t make them into the shapes I want. Ha ha ha.

Their first track on the mix, FIRST CONSIDER THE LILLIES is a meditation on a flying carpet all by itself. I just love that. Free holiday as I see it, even if it’s only for a few minutes. The further I am taken the better and more refreshing the voyage.

Also some more from the awesome NIGHTMARES ON WAX, with the most beautiful lyrics and message. I am listening to them a lot at the moment because I have only just found them, OH NO ! Lol it’s ok, we have them now, panic over.

To the sweetness of another ALI FARKA TOURE and the lovely ANGELICA, by LAMB, plus another double , sorry, from a previous playlist, GOLDEN CLOUDS added simply because it’s too great a song to not put on a Sky playlist and because I love it so much i can’t stop playing it.

And a beautiful Japanese word that I learnt today which sums this all up in a way. Where I want to live anyway.

Have a Beautiful day and Namaste you beautiful lot. X

Let me count the ways I LOVE Vic Reeves. To quote Monty Python… Aaaa lot !!

For this alone is enough to love him. He is a comedy genius. X

I am not forgetting the Fab Bob Mortimer too in this. Just not on this, and not today.

So nice to see too that I am not the only one who can play for hours with, in, on, or create with a box or four.

From full size playhouses to slides from castles on the sofa. I’ve done them all, and loved making everyone.

As I reeled from the blow, steadying myself rubbing a bloody head whilst they were all still counting !

In fact the only time I have ever cracked my head open, was the great hide and seek inside the of 2015. When I was rushing to climb into a castle box whilst wearing flared jeans. I don’t suggest it. Followed by a slow mo fall backwards into a wall, lol. Oops 😜

seven, eight, nine, ten….coming ready or not!

I was so not 😂

lesson learnt, so NO hide and seek in boxes and flares…tick.

One of my favourites if all our creations though was using an American fridge box, which are enormous so you feel you have to do that much cardboard justice and not waste it. Honour the wood.

So we coverered the whole sofa, cut windows at face height and then lived like that for a good few days/week.

We ate our meals, watched telly, chatted, played, and read etc all from the sofa box. Or as it was called sofhouse.

It is obviously catching or perhaps hereditary because all my son has to do is see a box and he has to find a way of wearing it immediately.

When I see a box I just think, what fun can we have with that today?

He is 13 but regularly still hides in or wears a box or 2 to surprise/welcome his mates when they come over. Lol

I Love him so much, again for this one thing alone. X

Chinese Proverbs – Inspirational Words Of Wisdom

The first thing that comes to mind when you think of Chinese proverbs is Fortunecookies. We all love a taste of these cookies and the wisdom that come with them. But did you know that Fortune cookies can trace their origin to Kyoto, Japan? Well, that’s a story for another day.

Today, we are going to discuss Chinese proverbs. The nature of the Chinesedialect lends itself to idioms and proverbs. With just a few characters, the Chinese language can easily convey a complex thought.

Most sayings and proverbs in the Chinese language are hard to trace their origins. Some of them can go all the way back to the Dao De Jing and Yi Jing ancient classic. On top of that, these saying typically relate to specific people or even places in Chinese history. Such proverbs can be a bit hard to understand especially for non-Chinese individuals.

What’s more, translating Chinese sayings to English is not an easy thing. In some cases, you might find that you will not get a similar construct or meaning in English. Therefore, translating such statements can be difficult. All in all, experts were able to interpret some of the Chinese proverbs to English.

So What Is Wisdom And Why Is It So Important?

If you want to be a leader someday, it’s important to grow and gain wisdom. More importantly, wisdom is not something that you will learn in school. I’m sure you agree with me there’s no subject that will practically teach you how to be wise.

But you can use your knowledge in the right way. Some of the reasons why wisdom is so important includes;

  • Good Character: I believe having a strong character will help you go through your tough times with ease. With a strong character, you will be able to positively impact the people around you. Most importantly you will be able to culture the wisdom in you.
  • Good Judgment: with wisdom, obstacles and challenges will be a simple walk in the park. That’s because you will have developed good judgment. But you should remember that this comes from experience and time. When you have good judgment, you will always solve problems, overcome obstacles, picture better results and keep on moving forward.

It’s a fact that wisdom comes from time and experience. That’s actually the reason why we generally perceive older people to be wiser than everyone else. But that shouldn’t mean that you cannot become wise while you are still young. On the contrary, it only means that you should practice and master your specific art or job.

Wise people will always remember and learn from their past experiences. The most important bit is that you should always move forward. Do not live in your past. Keep striving to make your today better than yesterday and your tomorrow better than today. That’s the only way you will become wiser than your age.

But of course there’s still a lot more to say about being wise and how important it is to your daily routines. Well, I hope these saying translated from the Chinese language will help you develop yourself and give you wisdom. Here’s a list of inspirational words of wisdom from the Chinese language.

In Summary

I’m sure you’ve already figured out that wisdom is not something that comes to you out of the blues. Don’t just lay back on your bed and expect to be wise. Take a chance and experience new things in life and fail. Then pick yourself up and try again but don’t repeat the same mistakes you did the last time. Be happy!

THANK YOU….🙏 And LOVE YOU !

YES YOU !

Truly from the bottom of my Enormous ❣ heart, even if I say it myself. I could not do this, nor would there be any point without you.

I suddenly realised that we may be close to 1000 people now joining us in the fun. Turns out I can count after all and in reality it is now 1100 Odd fellow Big Hearts following across the board on all platforms! 🙌💜🙌

So just WOW really, I am SO grateful for YOU, every last one of you, love you all for being so kind.

I am genuinely touched ( in a good way 😂😏) and feeling the love, So thankyou, thankyou, thankyou all.

This is going to be SO fun 😁

Also on a similar note a five days ago I promoted my first post on Facebook and on to Instagram. So I thought I would share the experience for any others thinking of doing the same to promote their thang. Also to explain why I am especially feeling the love and had to say something.

The add cost me a sum of £4 a day but it’s really entirely up to you what you spend. It was enough to risk as I see it like any gamble. Only ever bet what you are prepared to lose. Particularly as I am a genuine Neewb to all of this. I thought I would give it a go.

So I tried to choose a post that I thought that was..

A. A relevant/ important post, as in if you post often, one of your best, not a filler or a to short post to say much.

B. It had attracted likes in the past. Enough to show it doesn’t suck at least as a minimum I would say in my vast experience 😂

C. It was an attractive photo ( visuals are key..ALWAYS.) But I would say that, as it’s what I understand and know best. I LOVE THIS PHOTO. That why I used it as my introduction to the blog on my very first post.

D. It has something that shows who you are. I used one with all the playlists on so people could see exactly who we are and get a feel for us very quickly in a single post.

So Despite instagram being the last platform that I ventured to bravely, if I was/am still slightly fumbling around like a child. Now I’d have to say, that I am reborn in regards to Instagram. What is not to like. Well maybe the sharing features, ahem!

Not only must they be, most definitely, showing it to people who could possibly like and/or respond to my kind of blog, but your amazing response has just blown me a way and proved to be a great success.

That one post has been shown to 10k people In 4/5 days and had an wonderful reaction, Thank you 🙏

We were at 1700 likes as I drafted this yesterday, now more than over 2000 likes on that one post and seems to be growing by the minute, and 200+ follows too.

WOW you lot, Big up you 💜💜💜

As apposed to Facebook getting only 8 likes… which is a vast difference, and NO followers other than personal requests. So to speak.

It is so hard to have a clue what you are doing in the beginning of all this. So to see this kind of response is wonderful to feel that I must be doing something right. Codependently or not. It genuinely makes me happy, Lol.

Big apologies too if I made any mistakes with the old follow not follow malarkey. New to this, and all that. So I don’t always/often know what I’m doing. So if the follow was offensive, it was meant more as a gift to say thank you for all the likes for any who want them.

Nor do I have any intentions of going prying through your life or pics because I see this as an invasion of privacy. As you can see I highly value my privacy as you can see, so I feel EXACTLY the same about yours. So apologies if I do not accept the personal FB account requests, also for the same reason.

So just so you know FYI.

I WILL NOT be going through anyone’s personal pics. Sorry.

So no matter how hot as F##k you look in that selfie from the bathroom in your Pants/mankini, or on that beach…it’s private so I won’t even be looking let alone liking any of that kinda thing.

It’s nothing personal…it’s just personal.

I will Like the odd pet, flower or view. But even babies ( who are genuinely some of my most favourite people in the world) or even family pics, would already feel like an invasion of someone’s privacy to me and so a huge no no.

So please don’t think I don’t think your baby, selfie, or body is fab…I’m sure they are all Fanfu**ingfantastic. It’s just I am Genuinely not looking.

Pets though…fair game 😂

Equally finding time to fit everything I need into the days is enough of a challenge to me, without looking through 200 odd lives, I’m sure you are the same.

That is why I followed, just as a way to say thanks to any who want them only.

So To all you Big Hearts

Thankyou all and

BIG BIG BIG LOVE YOU LOVELY PEOPLE….

With Impeccable Taste 😂😉

For you

GIVE THX by the amazing NIGHTMARES ON WAX

Tuesday Tunes to Chill to with all my love x

Our new Chill 1 playlist straight from the Chillout area. Slow sexy little numbers from…

THE HERBALISER, WAX TAYLOR,RODNEY HUNTER and NIGHTMARES ON WAX.. they are all so good, I love them. Some gorgeous voices too.

It reminds me of a lay on the grass in the sun with friends sort of music. Or sitting by the pool on holiday. Or even just getting ready for a night out with friends.

What does this remind you of, or make you feel?

As always with my stuff even if it doesn’t sound like your kind of thing, I would say give it a chance. Hopefully then you will understand why each and every song is there and you never know what you next best most favourite thing is going to be unless you try it.

For me there are only two types of music….

Good and Bad, apart from that anything goes really. No rules and I find it better that way. Why limit yourself?

My only rule if you can call it that-ish, is it has to make me feel. Something, surely ? In the same way that all Art has to move me…. to something.

Or conversely it makes me FEEL like getting up and changing the song. Either/Or 🤣

For all of you, with all my love.

💜
