But then you start to feel like yourself again and the relief is exquisite…Aaaaaa

You remember who you are and where you’ve come from.

Just how far you’ve come.

How much you have achieved and how much you have to be grateful for, always.

You sleep.

You eat.

You remember to drink plenty of water and generally look after yourself.

You meditate as soon and as often as humanly possible.

Then you start to feel like yourself again.

The one you were before stress changed you on a molecular level, into a person you barely recognise at times

And all feels possible again.

You smile

And breathe.


Phew. X

Do ever just feel a bit Aaaaaaghh !

I know I do… So this is when I practice gratitude like a good’en repeatedly and especially on the days it’s feels the hardest to.

Then I listen to something like this to try shake me out of it.

Now we’ve got the blood pumping to get stuff done. Let’s ease on into the year gently shall we with Thom Yorke, Deerhunter, Yo Lo Tengo and the fugees.

Wishing you the very best start to the new year you lovely lot.

I thought a little Playlist today. Or rather a large one to make up for my absence.

Although I am still laughing at the fact that I’ve put Michael Buble on my blog, ha ha, and even a wee bit of pop too this year. I even surprised myself.

That just shows that there is a time to be cool and a time to be corny. For me Christmas is a time for the crooner, for the traditional and anything else that makes you feel, well Christmassy.

But that is the beauty of music, isn’t it. There is a perfect piece of music for every occasion, every situation.

So I’m hoping you all had an extraordinarily Buble Christmas and that we now feel ready for 2020?

So today i thought we may be needing a bit of an uplift to help us get sh*t done, with a party mix to get the blood pumping.

It is saturday after all.
