Happy New year Beautiful People. X

Wishing you the very best start to the new year you lovely lot.

I thought a little Playlist today. Or rather a large one to make up for my absence.

Although I am still laughing at the fact that I’ve put Michael Buble on my blog, ha ha, and even a wee bit of pop too this year. I even surprised myself.

That just shows that there is a time to be cool and a time to be corny. For me Christmas is a time for the crooner, for the traditional and anything else that makes you feel, well Christmassy.

But that is the beauty of music, isn’t it. There is a perfect piece of music for every occasion, every situation.

So I’m hoping you all had an extraordinarily Buble Christmas and that we now feel ready for 2020?

So today i thought we may be needing a bit of an uplift to help us get sh*t done, with a party mix to get the blood pumping.

It is saturday after all.

For now Big love to all.

Onwards and upwards…always.x

Walk away Playlist 2 Because sometimes it’s just time to go.

Whether it is a bad job, toxic relationship or in my case merely a hell of a home.

Sometimes it is just time to go and take what’s left of your patience, energy and your precious time and stop giving it away in all the wrong places.

Change is hard and is inevitably met with some resistance as we are human and love the shelter of status quo.

Often we hate change so much that we would rather stay put in the hell we know rather than risk the great unknown, alone.

But where is the fun in that. Where is the Possibility for new or surprising? Where is the room for growth and the space for endless possibilities in that?

Better to be brave, take the bull by the proverbial horns and get to it, head on.

We know the times everything is telling us to go, don’t we?

So why resist?

Instead I try to change my focus back to gratitude for everything tiny thing I can think of and go for it.

Thanking the universe eternally for guiding me away from where I am quite clearly not meant to be. Looking forward to a new day

Even when some kinks in the road are challenging and painful, it guides us on, always, if we will only quiet or minds enough to listen.

Clever really isn’t it.

Biggest Love to you all and joy.

Always X

Just one song today and a bonus track at that.

Poor Moon by CANNED HEAT.

It’s just gorgeous. Such a pretty little rolling tune with sweet voices that just makes smile.

Hope it does the same for you. X

Let’s keep it up for a little bit longer shall we…

Let’s start as we mean to go on and keep that energy high for the week with more from the Up Playlist 4. Slightly less dancey today but no less uplifting.

Wishing you all a fiercely fabulous week. X

Another Soft Playlist 5 today, with some of the most beautiful new stuff.

A little bit of a longer playlist today to say thanks and make up for the days I have not been able to post.

Some of these are so wonderfully hypnotic they really take me away, somewhere, which I absolutely love.

That RY COODER and V.M.BHATT Gangees delta blues is simply other worldly. The combination of the two sounds sit together so exquisitely, that one might imagine they had always been kin.

A new almost trance like XAVIER RUDD song Fortune Teller. F**king brilliant and nice natural funky, bluesy sound.

Plus a few fabulous new ones to me like Take me back by JUCA CHAVES, Mon commandant by SAGES COMME DE LARGUE LA PEAU, Les Fleur by 4HERO and GAZ COMMMBES, with Walk the walk, with some of the most beautiful harmonies and musicianship.

And a wonderful version of Dazed and Confused by HANNAH WILLIAM With a voice worthy of the song and a great RAMSEY LEWIS number, that is SO funky it would be a crime not to move to it. ; )

What a lift. X
