How about a little of this today. X
Big love all. 💜
I love how real all this stuff is. So brilliantly, lyrically and musically fantastic.
There is a kind of honest melancholy, perhaps inherent in the weather here? But also such an open heart laid bare, that touches me every time with some of these.
Such an superb energy and unique flavour or flava, Lol that is so quintessentially British and I Love that. It lifts my cheeky london side and gives me back my swagger and a little f**ck you in my step on the days That I need that most.
Because even a peace loving speader of light and gratitude needs to set boundaries sometimes too. Often perhaps, maybe even because of it.
So first Plan B… well what can I say, I just love, love, love each and every brilliant thing that he/they do. He is obviously a very bright lad, with a ginormous heart which is easy to see in music and lyrics he spouts.
I bet he is one of those with endless talents. Including acting I noticed too i was pleased to see. Speaking as an ex drama school girl, he really can act too. Bringing that same natural honesty, ease and genuine street to his roles, which I appreciate.
He is a better actor than many who call themselves so and who work full time in the profession. But I bet he’s the kind of person who could do anything he was given the opportunity for or set his mind to.
Then Wiley, who I have an idea is another bright one, as I am sure rappers often are. I love the Grime sense of humour, it’s bare faced witty, cheek and quite honestly it’s brilliant Britishness. I love a song that makes me smile and they seem do seem to do that.
For me they are the sound of London.
What do you think?
I just love the energy and free sincere rawness of these guys, i find it highly infectious.
It brings out my most sixties and seventies dance moves I have.
We’ve all got them even if we weren’t there, haven’t we?
How could your energy not be lifted by a good old dance?
How are you all doing this fine Sunday? I thought we may need a little gentle mix today, I hope you like it.
Some spectacular voices, RAY LAMONTANGE’S fab The Man in Me as always like soft buttered velvet, if that was a thing.
ROO PANES someone new to me with beautiful OPHELIA and a such a gorgeous voice.
The ever brilliant PAROV STELER with Tango Muerte, I just love all their stuff.
But just wait till the last song… I’LL BE HOME by Rosseaux….just WOW , it is genuinely breathtaking
His voice is so soulful and so deep that it makes every fibre of my being resonate, that gets to me everytime with the full body goosebumps…
What more can u ask for from a song? The sexy slow crescendo building up at the end just kills me.
Isn’t that just another way our incredulous bodies are telling us what feeds us? What speaks to our soul. How could we ignore that.
All my Love
Exquisite harmonies, songwriting, incredible energy with such heart that makes me feel all warm inside.
I am so happy I found him … such versatility and diversity in his songs.
I was just watching a film last night and I Shazamed 4 of his songs.. it was meant to be.
I have never heard any of his music before, but there is so much to love.
Also I am guessing that I am out alone in not knowing him, because I’ve just found out that he is on tour at the moment. Yay !
Which means I will be going to see him at some point, somewhere.
Not only are they are in small fantastic venues, if the London venues are anything to go by and the tickets are £16 /$20 ish which is amazing!!

Be rude not to give it a go at that price.
He is a Canadian musician who did the soundtrack for HECTOR AND HIS SEARCH FOR HAPINESS, which is where I found him.

Such musician ship, such musicians such beautiful music.
Truly some glorious stuff, hence my urgency.
I will put another softer playlist of his on at some point, but started with this to give you a better taste for all his stuff.
From Funky to Folkey to classically lovely stuff. Not classical, but classically composed, you will see what I mean. Fantastic guitar, voice and even string arrangements on some.
See what you think?
Love, love, love to you all. X
