Street Art, Icons of the screen. X

These are friggin AWESOME. The detail and accuracy at that scale is utterly remarkable.

Do we take the time to see that this is a part of our renaissance or rather continual naissance? Our birth of the new forms of arts.

These are surely just the same. Arts pushing boundaries and evolving as they must with the time, using anything it can to thrive and stay alive.

These are our generations young new artists doing the same as those artists did then. The rebels, the visionaries the ones who continually surprise us and move us so masterfully forward.

Like the rappers, I believe, our new voice of poetry, not all perhaps, but the great and the bright and even film scores surely our new equivalent classical composers.

Because it did not sound classical or old to them then did it? It was current then, and often groundbreaking even.

Wasnt it, of it’s time, a revolution of the old. Its ancestors natural evolution and progression onwards?

Though it is true that often Art is soberly lead to where the money is In Film most definitely too, that’s where people now get paid to write scores for film and tv. Which is no differently to a king or nobleman commissioning a portrait in the 15 C.

Which undoubtedly has always coloured the freedom of some arts over the centuries.

This is not.

This has no money attached to it, no rules, just Art straight and free from the heart.

And you gotta love that. X

We interrupt this holiday broadcast to bring you, urgent music ! Dan Mangan, Up playlist. Such an incredible find I had to share him immediately, lol. X

I am so happy I found him … such versatility and diversity in his songs.

I was just watching a film last night and I Shazamed 4 of his songs.. it was meant to be.

I have never heard any of his music before, but there is so much to love.

Also I am guessing that I am out alone in not knowing him, because I’ve just found out that he is on tour at the moment. Yay !

Which means I will be going to see him at some point, somewhere.

Not only are they are in small fantastic venues, if the London venues are anything to go by and the tickets are £16 /$20 ish which is amazing!!

Tickets here…. Dan Mangan https://g.co/kgs/sJsDxv

Be rude not to give it a go at that price.

He is a Canadian musician who did the soundtrack for HECTOR AND HIS SEARCH FOR HAPINESS, which is where I found him.

Such musician ship, such musicians such beautiful music.

Truly some glorious stuff, hence my urgency.

I will put another softer playlist of his on at some point, but started with this to give you a better taste for all his stuff.

From Funky to Folkey to classically lovely stuff. Not classical, but classically composed, you will see what I mean. Fantastic guitar, voice and even string arrangements on some.

See what you think?

Love, love, love to you all. X

I LOVE SPRING BECAUSE I LOVE NATURE AND COLOUR SO WHATS’S NOT TO LIKE.

I can’t explain the joy I feel just walking around at the moment with everything in full bloom. The hope and promise of death and rebirth fulfilled.

My eyes scanning back and forth and back again for each and every bursts of colour no matter how surreptitiously hidden it may be , no matter how tiny. Each pretty little face peeping out, popping through, looking towards me shouting out to be seen and admired.

I love all times of the year because each has it’s own undying splendour to enjoy. But there is something about spring and all the flowers that feeds my souls inner rainbow. My need for colour coupled with my awe of every one of nature works of art makes this one of my favourite times of the year.

Even in the quite often grey that is Britain or perhaps because of it, the colour blows, every year. I miss it on all those gloomy spectrum-less day, which is quite a bit of winter too. So for me spring somehow annually sates my souls need for colour.

I plant as many flowers wherever I live because I realise that I love to spend time looking at them, willing and waiting for them to grow. Each tiny petal and expectant bud brings me joy pure and simple.

The perfect song for a little peace 🎶 Saraswati Ma… gorgeous.

Today If you ever need a little calm. This song does it for me every time.
